Default Re: Flash Flash Revolution Community Pack 3 Released

Already looked at everything when it was sent in but I decided to playthrough everything again and leave some final commentary.

(Scylaax) A Showcage
Typical J-core Scylaax file. Well layered (surprisingly without all your signature hand spam). Good choice for layering the ending differently as it makes the file slighty less repetitive.

(Rog) AGAYHA
Yes.

(Rog) Ah Shwe Bah
Well stepped considering the song choice. Rainbow notes and mine usages made this unique. I don't see myself playing this often though.

(Gundam-Dude) Amaryllis V2
Restepped and Resynced from the Xoon 4 version since TC and I ****ed up this song so badly. File's meant to be ~artsy and expressive~

(Kommisar) Arcadian
Fun and enjoyable. Some patterns in the 24th stream are kinda hard to hit though.

(IcyWorld) Artificial Intelligence Bomb
Fairly solid. One of the better files I've played from you.

(Xayphon) Clione
Glad to see the file was cut down since the original dragged on forever. However your offset was off (probably global offset problems) which probably turned off a lot of people playing this who didn't readjust it before playing through. Overall, solid in terms of layering choices however you definitely need to control how much hold/freeze dumping you do as that factor alone makes this file very dense to read and tricky to combo (this ain't no SMG2 era tatsujin).

(Rog) Cocaine Voltron
Solid file just kinda lackluster. Glad to see the patterns flowed and weren't awkward to hit.

(Niala) Colibri
Definitely the best file I've played from you out of the 2 or 3 I've seen. Layering is solid however double check on the sync work as it's off for a couple sections. Also be careful about dumping jumpjacks since the ones you placed in this are major difficulty spikes.

(Kommisar) Computer Music
Chiptune Superstar V3. Layering is as good as it'll get for this song, just pretty long and lackluster for some people to play through.

(Detrimentalist) Cory in the House
Yes.

(Gundam-Dude) Crescendo
Japan etc. Nothing really notable about this other than showing how to make a file for generic japan song choices like these a little more interesting.

(npv) Dajoolggeh
Moches and I are like the only people on the planet that actually like this file. Stepped to the song's potential, just has some nasty patterns and difficulty spikes.

(Detrimentalist + 0) Disconnected HaZaRD
Light - Polyrhythms in this are funky and don't quite flow. Patterns weren't particularly friendly to hit.
Heavy - A bit better than the other chart. Hand usages are a bit much and there were a couple jumpjacks that were dumb to hit.

(Asphyxzero) Do Back Burn
Hands were a bit overboard and didn't really need that many. Not fond of the jumpjacks because they transition into patterns that become awkward to hit but the minijack usages were interesting. Layering is solid but overall this was pretty lackluster.

(Duplica) Doorbellsplosion
A few rainbow notes felt overemphasized and off at times. Well layered though the jump usages become a bit hard to follow. Some patterns don't sit well with me.

(Rin-Dude) ENRAPTURED SOULZ
Heavy is fun and enjoyable even though it still feels old school-esque. Beginner is BS.

(bmah) EXTREME PT.2
Rainbow trills are very tough to MA and combo. Rainbow polyrhythms are really hard to follow and don't flow too well despite being unique to your stepping style. Replayable for scoring but that's about it.

(Xayphon) Fast Asleep
Looks like every other Terminal11 file pretty much. Semi-accurately layered and good for scoring but not really enjoyable to playthrough.

(John11) Fleet of the Littleships
Too much quad usages; Not enough 3-note hands to counterbalance to usage (I'm like the only person that ever complains about this, lol). A lot of rainbow notes are blatantly offsync but aside from that layering is pretty solid and it flows. Decent for a MA file.

(moches) Futurism
You definitely still have it; this was very fun to play and highly enjoyable. Thought some stop gimmicks could've been dumped at the ending measures.

(Scylaax) Hiyayaka ICE
Well layered but lackluster and repetitive. Nothing particularly interesting to keep players playing through this until, the end.

(Cyrenics) I Turn to You
A complete snoozefest mostly due to song choice, rofl.

(Xayphon) In Love With You
Insert Fast Asleep's notes here plus the fact that it's so long that I lose completely interest and quit out of the file.

(Rog) Innocence
Better than Patashu's and Torrent's files for this song. This is how dubstep should be stepped pretty much.

(Baq12) Intensive Care Unit
At this speed a lot of patterns are aids to hit. Hands are overemphasized in this and don't quite fit. Decent for scoring.

(wc) Intermission
Yes.

(Kommisar) Intersect Thunderbolt
Tricky to MA due to the speed. Well layered and stepped just drags a bit.

(Gpop) Last Remote
Personally, I didn't like this much. The sync is off in certain sections and some hands were abused and not used in moderation which I find sloppy. Layering in general is solid but this just needs more structure to how jumps and hands are being placed throughout as well as hold/freeze usages (which are also long in length). Finally, although not that big of a deal, pattern usages seem very pad/index oriented, lol.

(IcyWorld) Liberi Fatali
Layering is funky and some patterns don't exactly roll off the fingers well. Overall, layering is fairly solid just drags on and is a bit lackluster due to song choice.

[Kommisar + Kraezymann] Lucid Rhythms
Light - Good as an easy chart.
Heavy - Well layered. Could use rainbow grace notes to accent the piano.

(Dimentio) Lunatic Gaze
Some 192nds weren't really needed since it overemphasizes some sounds you were accenting. Well layered, just a bit boring mostly due to song choice.

(wc) Mastication Numérique
Layered to its potential pretty much although it's very tough to MA and combo. Good for scoring but I don't see myself playing this often :V

(Rin-Dude) MENTAL MELTDOWN
Well layered as per usual just kinda lackluster and drags on. Pretty nice as a generic 16th jumpstream file though.

(moches) Multi-Man Melee 2
Solid layering and good as an enjoyably easy MA file. Aside from that, nothing really notable about this.

(Detrimentalist + Yotipo91) My Crutch
Standard - Prefer this over the other chart since it has more STRuCTuRe to it.
Heavy - Solid layering just mother ****ing freeze dumping that ruins this.

(Kommisar) Nix-Tek
Typical Kommi chiptune file. Well layered and fun to play which you pretty much have a knack for.

(Scylaax + Paexaea) Perditus Paradisius
Has some nasty patterns that are hard to combo. Layered semi-accurately, just kinda dumb to play. Good for scoring nonetheless.

(Wineandbread) Rambling Feather
Could use tweaks for some layering choices and some rainbow grace notes to top it off. Overall, enjoyable file.

(Haru-ko) Sequentia
Definitely a different approach to the song compared to Nick's and Don's files for this song. However this isn't quite as strong and fun.

(Gundam-Dude) Shoreline
This was pretty much experimental in terms of layering. It's a hit or miss file pending on the player.

(Scylaax) Snakeman Stage
Some tough patterns to hit in the 24th/32nd bursts. Well layering and enjoyable to playthrough.

(Rog) Songs for Dead Malls
Starts very slowly and it drags on which may turn some people off. When it finally builds up though, file is fairly enjoyable.

(wc) Star Scat
Unique song choice and uniquely stepped which makes this much more interesting to playthrough. Ending solo is a difficulty spike.

(Wyde) The Black Monster
Too much quad usages; Not enough 3-note hands to counterbalance the usage. Also holds are way too long in length in the beginning measures. Layering is solid but I think you could've layered in the piano chords playing throughout for variation.

(wc) The Final Hour
Interesting pattern usages. Well stepped considering the song choice just lackluster and it drags on.

(Rog) The Island Part II
That ****ing trill I can never FC it. Xmod gimmicks added a very nice touch. Well layered and fairly enjoyable to playthrough.

(Scylaax) Tornadoman Stage
Kil influence detected though it still has that dense Scylaax layering.

(Puppet) Venom Theme
I already said it once and I'll say it again. Nice rainbow dump did you get it from a garage sale. Extremely difficulty to combo and even MA. Parts feel way too overemphasized but I guess it makes it much more unique and interesting. Definitely replayable for the scoring factor, lol.

(Rebound) Witchcraft
I still say that it needs more mini-jacks and maybe some mini-freezes to accent certain sounds. Xmod gimmicks added a nice touch.

(Dimentio) The Ultimate Show
Nice polyrhythms br0. Well layered and fairly enjoyable.
