Memorial Day

I know that this is an American holiday, but more than just American lives have been lost in past wars. And I know it's supposed to be for WWI and the civil war. w/e I'm surprised no one made a thread about this, but.

My father has awards for navy service, my grandfather has 3 purple hearts from vietnam, my great uncle has awards for military service during vietnam. My great grandfather died in the second world war. My great great grandmother was a nurse during world war II, and was in two separate bombings.

My mother's grandfather's side fought in the civil war, and a lot of them were badly injured. Well, this is to you guys.
