I know that this is an American holiday, but more than just American lives have been lost in past wars. And I know it's supposed to be for WWI and the civil war. w/e I'm surprised no one made a thread about this, but.
My father has awards for navy service, my grandfather has 3 purple hearts from vietnam, my great uncle has awards for military service during vietnam. My great grandfather died in the second world war. My great great grandmother was a nurse during world war II, and was in two separate bombings. My mother's grandfather's side fought in the civil war, and a lot of them were badly injured. Well, this is to you guys. If anyone has things to say on behalf of family in the service, or about the day in general, this is the place.
