That's depressing that a 10 billion cookie portal investment only nets a ~14k additional CPS.

I think you mean a 10 billion cookies investment. My portals now cost 1.6 billion each.

Either way I'm turning it off again now.

Haha you're right, cookies aren't a natural to type currency for me yet xD

I'm not giving up on this game mainly because I want to see if: 1) I can be prepared for whatever this "major update" is. 2) See if I can either crush the server with cookies, or overheat my laptop.

It has a stupid high amount of cpu usage for a browser script. I would imagine on any laptop cpu youd be running at 30-50% usage which is kind of silly to leave running for days at a time.

I'm running an i5 2500k and it really only peaks at ~15% cpu (which is still pretty crazy), and thats because I hate the stupid built-in flash plugin that Chrome uses.

I hope the guy releases some statistics on the game; I want to see who has the top CPS.

Autoclicked to 1mil and doing a portal only strategy in hopes of saving processing power and making up for lower CPS by having no lag.

2.9 billion cookies and portals cost 400 million each. I'm also at a point where the cost far outweighs the benefit. I'll probably keep the game running until I restart my computer though
