Dude, it's one thing for the employees to say ' ate you coin, huh, have 3 games on me' it's another thing for people just to steal it. think of it this way: IF THE ARCADE IS NOT MAKING MONEY THEN IT"S GOODBYE DDR!

Wow, seriously just play.

I promise, No body will ever find out unless some asshole tells them about it. The PIU machine at my arcade is supposed to cost three tokens, but has been at 1 token for months after someone changed it because no one in there right mind would be like "WTF, only one token??? I wanted to pay three!"

Even if they did find out, they're not going to do a damn thing other than change it back. The Arcade has already made enough money off that game to pay for it, why do you care if they don't gain a dollar everytime you play a game? Trust me, they don't care at all either. The local employees get paid the same no matter how many coins are in the ITG machine.

You're making a giant deal about something that happens constantly in every arcade that exists. Just chill out and play.

Yea why would you want to pay? Just play dumb if the employees say anything and say you thought they put a whole bunch of coins in or just run.

You have to get to the "operator options", and to get to that you need to get inside the operator box which takes a key. I don't exactly know how to get into the options menu, but I know once you do you can set coin options to zero (on some machines) or 1 coin per credit. You can also insert a bunch of credits for free.

Just send them an e-mail telling them to watch the DDR machines when certain people come in to play. That is extremely wrong, arcades don't make that much money as it is (the reason our drummania machine takes a dump every few weeks).

You guys play FFR to much and not enough DDR/ITG in ddr there is a red buttom behind the coin door and when you press it you get free games...but there is nothing to press from behind...its inside....

Yup Ive done it once but thast it...I go alot and pay the 50 cents each game and guess what happened..the ended up adding a 4th mix plus to the arcade...So what I think you should just pay and dont steal game becuase if everyone pays then they tend to buy new game such as supernova if you dont have one yet or a new ITG or something.

I highly agree. My arcade bought a 'Nova with the ddr extreme money..So I think you should pay for the games and get better things out of your money.

Red button? Oh, so that's what that is on the FIVE ****ING DDR MACHINES I OWN. I should probably play some more because it seems starting DDR back in 1999 isn't enough.

The coin switch is on the front. How does the post I made that you quote infer to the back of the machine in any way?

If you have a shoddy coin mech with a loose wire, a vibration can make it move and contact the switch inside. I gave a possibility, not an answer. I'm not there to experience what these people are doing so I can't say for sure.

Thats kinda cool in a way but its breaking the law. I would report them and just pay the four quarters back for the game you played.
