lol.. the super fast stuff is what made me start thinking I need to use both hands.. seems a little impossible to do it with one, or atleast very very difficult, but I'm 'learnd-ing' my left hand now =P .. but I preffer using one hand for everything else tho, feels more comfortable

I use the keypad... NumLock off. Index finger on "4," ring finger on "6," and middle on "8." It kinda gives me a better feel like the original DDR.

I use a weird 2 handed style, 3 fingers on the right, up, and down and 1 on the left. Whenever others try it, it messes up their hands, but:
Left index on middle, right middle on up, right index on bottom, right ring on right. If I had could make a video of it, I would.

Faster songs are harder with one hand, but I find it gives a good sense of accomplishment to complete a song properly with one hand. I've recently been able to pass neoMAX on Stepmania with one hand, with the only part messing me up is the quick jump parts, which I can't read perfectly yet. Streaming for me is fine with one hand, unless there are jumps midway in the stream. That messes me up.

It's not too hard to switch from 1 handed to 2 handed playing style..but if your going to do it, do it on stepmania, where you can actually CONTROL your speed mods. And don't bother trying to learn Index with 2 handed cuz it's pointless unless your a fan of "sliding" your fingers on keys. Spread is the way to go and its not to hard to learn either. I learned on c,v and n,m. But now i play on A,S, K,L. It's way easier to hit 16th and 32nd steams without missing.

left- left index
