1) Whoever said that SC took less thinking than original C&C games: rofl idiot. -Craft games are about smaller armies and micromanagement, C&C games are about economics, build order, and MASSING TANKS. I like C&C because that is easier so I don't suck as much at it.
2) Generals was NOT C&C. EA just stuck the C&C name on it to sell more copies. 3) C&C: Tiberium Wars will have a 3rd side. Last time I checked, EA still won't release who it is. Might be the mutants from Tiberian Sun or the aliens that brought tiberium to Earth. *shrug* 4) And as for the campaigns being hard in C&C....if I remember correctly, the SC/WC2 games (around the same generation as old C&C games...all the new ones are piss easy) were just as hard if not harder than the C&C ones. Also, any Nod mission where you could either 1) build obelisks or 2) had stealth tanks were piss easy. The sandbag trick was rofl (build a line of sandbags to the enemy's base then build an obelisk at the end and have it rape their base), and I clearly remember one mission where I put a stealth tank in the back of their base and shot until I saw them coming, then I'd let it cloak again and their units would just walk away. I kept this up until everything in the back was dead. Easy as hell. 5) Seth: Let's attack America! Kane: *shoots Seth* You're fired. Me: rofl rofl rofl 6) Until C&C gets UMS maps, -Craft games will ALWAYS have something over C&C games. I love C&C's gameplay, but I love UMS maps.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

Has anyone else heard news of the World of Starcraft style game they're thinking of making? I think it would turn out somewhat similar to auto assault.

Starcraft is old and boring. It was great when it came out but that was.... 7 years ago? Try elder scrolls oblivion or big red one.

I liked StarCraft. It's one of those games that never gets old if you take breaks from it. I played UMS games on it all the time. I pwned Evolves, hands down. It had more diversity than C&C but I still likie C&C more. SC is harder I think, there's few missions in any C&C where a massive army won't win. In RA2 for instance, which I'm playing right now, the Soviets practically always win hands down if you know how. Power Plant<Ore Refinery<Barracks<War Factory<Radar<Battle Tower<Nuclear Power Plant<Cloning Vats. Seriously, cloning vats=t3h win. I don't build defenses, I build massive amounts of infantry. It's quicker defense too. Riflemen are dirt cheap at $100 a piece, with cloning vats it's two for one if you didn't know. So I'd make dozens and dozens of infantry, then flack troopers for air. I'm usually Iraq so I get the Desolators. Those too=t3h win. Instant infantry kills and if you situate enough of them within the enemy base and deploy their radiation the enemy can't build any units without them exploding or melting instantly. pillbox > desolator.
Oh and an actual tesla coil wouldn't work unless the enemy went around wearing armour made out of strong magnets. Shock trooper online |

Starcraft:Ghost has been indefinitely postponed and/or put off (as already stated) and is rumoured by Blizzard that it will be for next-gen consoles (PS3, 360, Wii), but i'm not sure which.
The game has been pushed back so many times, it'll be a cold day in hell before it's EVER released, to be honest with you. Quote:

in my sad opinion blizzard shouldn't make console games.
I think they keep seeing things come out and they say: "hey we wanna improve it again". But because this is a console game they cant patch it so they keep delaying the release to put in more addons. Which for starcraft loyalists (like me) makes it utterly gutwrenching.
