Had an injury in DDR?

I was playing some 7 footer on thsi really crappy ddrmax2 machine with the worst pads I have ever played on (I think the machine is a ddr megamix machine right now rofl) and I just completely missed the pad and stepped right off.

Also, I was playing tribal revival expert in itg (I suck okay ;<) and my stomach started like convulsing rofl.

Someone tripped me when i did Legend of Max HEAVY.
Broke my leg, But that was a year ago or somewhere around there.

i was at the mall playing DDR and i messed up my right once i got to the fast part after the freeze arrows on Daidinkai on Heavy. i had a hard time walking on my right foot after that for like 2 days or so.

that and i almost crashed into my tv playing at my house. doin double freeze arrows at the end of some song. (the freeze arrows want to kill me!)

but other than those 2 incidents then no

Slipped off the side of the pad and slammed my shoulder on the wall while attempting MaxX Unlimited...with no bar...on heavy.

Needless to say, it hurt.

It's pretty funny but it hurt like hell. I was at the arcade playing this easy song called Ecstacy. There's this part of the song where it freezes then a couple of seconds later it starts again. I was playing infront of my girlfriend and some friends of mine so I wanted to show off a little. During the freeze section I got behind the bar facing the machine. My plan was to jump the bar and land on the arrows right when the arrow shows up. I put mi hands on the bar and procceded to jump over it, the bad part was that I was wearing baggy pants. the baggy part between the legs caught on the bar while I was in air. so when I cleared it, it made me do a frontflip and I landed flat on by back. Everyone started to laugh so goddamn bad. I was just in the same position because it hurt too bad to move. I fractured a rib bone because of that...lol.

When I was playing on the home pad I slipped off and fell into my keyboard. That was pretty gay. I also hit the back of my head on the bar.

Well, no injuries, but bad internal feelings from overdoing it -.-

Worst was probably going from HVAM right into Maxx Unlimited (first time I had tried Unlimited in many many months). I passed it, with a D (BARELY, I had no lifebar left after the final freeze). I felt a slight bit sick, so I did what I usually do after playing a 10 footer that tires me out too much: play an easy light song. So I played My Summer Love.....I could hardly pass that. After that song, I told my friend to play, then just fell to the floor....I was down there for about 35-40mins...it was another 25-30 after I got up before I started playing again.

Now with my luck...next time I go to the arcade for DDR, I'll try that bar jump in R3 and screw it up somehow XD

I've never injured myself playing DDR. I'm too damn good. =)

ITG hurts my knees though. Stupid Bend your Mind doubles expert. =(

The worst that has happened is I hit my bare foot on the edge of the metal of the pad, but it didn't leave any marks. It hurt though. very minor. I might've fallen once, but I can't remember for sure.

Heh... Try doubles on metal pads with no shoes on. That hurts.

my most worse injury was when i cut my hand open from tripping off the dance mat in the arcade

Heh, At home, Me and a friend and I were playing for about, oh, 6 hours straight, I was feeling just fine, but as for the friend of mine, I had to carry him out to his car when his Mum came to get him, He didnt show up at school for about 2 days. Funnier then hell when I had to carry him out to his car. His mom was just sitting there laughing in the Drivers seat.

I've been here a month on the forums actually writng. Ive been on this site and reading forums without participating for about a year. You're right though. I overreacted. Ive just been having a bad day.

ok well ive only had one injusry when i was playing ddr i was at the arcde and i was playing some song with alot of gallops and i had my shoes of well i missed the pad and sliced of half my toe and heel the carpet is still satined with my blood that happend bout 2 weeks ago
