I am tired of hearing about how 'bad' you guys think FFX-2 was. You might want to read through the entire thread before flaming me.

FFX was good in certain aspects, like its graphics. FFX-2 was good because it wasnt as serious and it had an ok gameplay setting. FFIX had a good storyline and the characters were funny. FFVII was boring and i think it is way to overrated by the stupid fanboys.
Also, the 0 seconds thing with the chocobo's was one of the easiest, with the lightening bolts being the hardest (not including the monster arena). Every FF game has its own aspect that makes it fun and interesting, and no matter what your opinion may be....all of them were good games with parts of them being debatable.
I always thought it would be hilarious to see Moogy have a fight against Prak (if you clicked my links you would know who im talking about). They have completely opposite opinons and they fight and criticize people the same exact way.

i have FFX and FFX-2. I beat FFX but i didn't beat FFX-2 because i never really wanted to play it. There both ok games though

yes, moogy probably has played all of them.
And yes, I agree with him for the most part, 1 is terrible, 2 is, 3, 4, 5, 7 is pretty bad you realize, it was only good for a first rpg, 8 was maybe the worst game i have ever played, I really hated 9, 10 I like ;/, x-2 was second worst, only to 8, xi I dunno, xii I dunno.
Also, most ff music is terrible.

But whatever, can my thread die now? or will you nto let it yet :<.

I own every SNES, PSX, and PS2 RPG ever released in America. I am not kidding.

The NES ones all suck cock and I played them on an emulator so whatever. I first played FFV on an emulator, then the PSX version. The PSX versions of FFIV-FFVI are basically unplayable, by the way, due to the insane load times. Square couldn't even get a simple port right.

The rest I played on their original consoles.

Hey, I personally enjoyed VIII, X, and X-2. VII was decent, and IX.... well, let's just say it's the worst game I've ever played. The remake of IV is good enough, and Tactics (not advance!) is easily one of the best games I've ever played. Eh, I'm sick of the Final Fantasy series... I doubt I'll pick up XII.

I really liked Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 2, but that was years ago, simply because I was way into dungeon crawlers and had no money to spend on a decent (HA) one.

It's true, the final fantasy series is slightly exaggerated. Mainly because of it's giant base of fanboys, I do enjoy the series though. My favourite is seven, blah blah bitch and flame, but Tactics is easily my second favourite and I've been trying to track down a local copy of the game for over a year and a half now. Tactics Advance blew, how different species got different jobs, way to be gay Square. Chocobo Racer was fun with friends, like Bushido Blade. Cactuar races pwn, so do SS Invincible races. Chocobo Dungeon, I vaguely remember renting the second one, it made baby jesus cry. I think Scorp3 meant FF7, and no, it isn't coming out on PS3. Dirge of Cerberus has been released in NA already Moogy?

Some games are both RPGs and MMORPGs, eg. Phantasy Star Online can be played and still be entertaining when not playing online. Do those count as MMORPGs?
