So we started off with 9 people. Assuming there is not stuff that affects the kills* we have 4 opportunities to hang the wolves. If you do not vote for anybody d0, then you are losing an opportunity that you cannot get back unless something happens with the night abilities. This is at least a bit more likely to happen with it being a mystery game, but it is still risky and not very commonly done here. It was super common in Town of Salem because the roles were the focus there.

* e.g. 1-shot vig on either side, or kill stopping abilities

Then, there is also the standpoint that typically our analysis improves from d2 onwards when we at least have how the votes fell as a conversation point.

Also, to be honest, I have seen so many times people just not even bothering to submit their night abilities on this website that I cannot imagine ever wanting to give up the d0 vote off in order to put blind trust in people to actually DM sun fan on time. It is annoying too because the wolves get to remind each other and might even be allowed to submit on behalf of their afk other person, but town do not get the same luxury.

Not using this as a defense here but I'm not used to 12 hour phases and I misunderstood what that would be like but now I know a bit better
Do you think you will be more available today out of curiosity?

What I forgot to add is I'm curious why people assumed I was defending Subaru when in the context of that post it was more likely to be raeko, because she's the one who actually had posts. It was star and someone else who linked me to Subaru, not sure who it is atm but I'll reread later and find out
It was Xel yeah. I was reading the game first thing in the morning for me and I read it same as Xel but partly that may have been because of reading Xel's response quickly afterwards which I did not recall you correcting. It being about raeko does clear up the tone and I honestly think it makes you a bit less likely to be wolves with raeko

Pretty much everyone acknowledged that it was dumb and probably didn't mean anything, WE VOTED FOR BUG ANYWAY. I switched my vote at the last second to be the killing vote. My opinion on star's big post: for now I like it. I like seeing the effort and having something to respond to. Her reaction to the delayed flip seems genuine

But when I went to read it carefully to pick parts to respond to, other than the direct questions to me I didn't see much else that I could comment on. So it seems a little bit fluffy to me. Since Star is known for long/wordy posts she may have an incentive to write a long post even if she doesn't have many real thoughts on the game. But it's still very early so it could just be that.
I started preferring they/them over she just so you know but no apology needed.

My schedule is very not ideal for the game and so I do feel extra motivated to be as present as I can, which I think is exhibiting itself as more stream of consciousness some of the time, to try to better mimic what my reaction might have been if I had been there at the time I guess? Eh.

Normally I'm a d0 enjoyer but I'd had only up to 2 or 3 pages for a while so I tapped out waiting for stuff to come in, then forgot to come back. Never really played a game with night messages like this either, it still is just even more boneless d0 as far as I'm concerned just not the way I thought it'd be.

I was makin a whole paragraph about botchi being able to have the 11 death posts and still bein able to help in death but I realized you gotta use em all the following phase. I fully believe they're town and I was thinking of it as a pretty decent confirmed role going into the rest of the game, but with this in mind not as much.

I've gotta re-read a whole bunch, just wanted to give a sign of life from what I was skimmin on the way here and what jumped out immediately.
Turbos are always 12/12 just so you know. It is the nightposting that is the only weird bit. Definitely need to get more from you than this so please keep going with the posting.

I really struggle to see how this is a genuine take. It just kind of reads to me like you are trying to sound like you are assessing things but failed? Feel free to expand on this but yeah.

I prolly misread it twice as well. For some reason I thought botchi'd have em during D1 as if N0 wasn't immediately following D0 so I was on some bullshit.

sorry botchi ;_;

Wasn't expecting Xel to be killed... interesting. Don't really get that kill tbh unless this post is an attempt at distance and Subaru killed Xel for voting for them last phase lol

I thought it was consistent with his thoughts on D0 in general. It didn't seem like he randomly chose something to take issue with but was talking about something that fits with his overall view of the game in general which seems more genuine

I like this analysis from you and in general I think your recent posting is addressing the reservations I was having.

I get to make make ten more posts, so I'm just gonna play a nice, vote-free day.

Also, that night kill on me is spicy. The goals to make town direct at Freezin, Raeko, and Subaru. Which is fun.

By the way since I get to pass along game info, the reason Raeko was a meme-vote mention was:

1. Interaction bait.
2. She's so much more likely to be town bssed on her D0, a push there genuinely is silly, and it never happens. (On D0.)

My biggest question I guess that helps solve is: Freezin's post is worded in a cute technical way, where technically either Raeko or Subaru can be the subject, given they'd both already posted, but Freezin claims Raeko as the main subject of it.

Question there is do I perscribe malice to how that post was worded or not. Also if it helps, I completely read it as Botchi, as they'd posted as well originally.

It's very weird to be playing after i'm dead.

It's also different to say this but: if I need to clarify anything, ask away. I have quite literally zero incentive to lie. But I might respond slower till EOD to conserve posts.

No I am pretty sure botchi can't post anymore which is unfortunate and not something I realised.

I have no specific questions at the moment but will let you know if that changes. Obviously if you have any reads that you have not already mentioned. You will also need to decide what you want to share about your role and at what time.

He has 11 death posts he can make, so he can still play for those posts

I'm able to periodically take a peek in here throughout the day, but I will be unavailable from 7-10 server time which unfortunately only gives me 1 hour to really play EoD, but I will definitely be there this time.

---

I've caught up to this point, and the general conversation between Mellon and Star have me feeling generally good, would like to see more from WV, and I'm genuinely convinced bug/freezin/subaru are the same person

Re WV, I do want to make sure he answers as to his level of certainty in declaring botchi town.

Re the other 3 sticking together in your mind, they have different styles in my opinion. Is your issue that they have not done much to stand out or something?

Subaru - Plays less TWG than the two and it can take him a bit to kind of get going with grasping the situation due to that

Freezin - Often a lower poster but spicy. Willing to take a bold stance

bugkid - usual style might be kind of a cross between me and raeko? Usually pretty involved. If they are a wolf in this game it would be their first time. Always votes the lowest poster D0 so I cannot take anything from their bolthic vote really.
