16 years
Just hit 16 years of being on this site, and although I've had some huge gaps in when I was active, I have always enjoyed playing this game. I had dial-up internet for most of my FFR life when I was younger, and I would get on my grandparents nerves from tying up the phone lines while playing this, OSRS, and Diablo 2. Man, those were the days (even if I had to wait like five minutes for a song to load)
I really don't remember much of my forum life at all, and I can barely pick out anyone that I used to talk to, although I know I was quite an ass for most of my posting history. I feel like I was an asshole to people who didn't deserve it, and honestly it makes me a bit sad to think that I might have had a negative impact on someone, especially with a lot of us all being the same age and probably going through shit of our own. However, I always had fond memories of playing this game, and it helped me through some pretty dark times in my teenage years. I'm happy to say that it continues to bring me joy in my adult life. Thank you, FFR.

I definitely wouldn't be the person I am today without the folks I've met on here
It is truly insane how long it's been when I really think about it. People from FFR are among my "old" friends at this point. I've known them longer than I've known most people I actually hang out with other than a few school friends |

Re: 16 years
I’m also approaching 16 years on this from my old account. Haven’t really played the game for a good 9 years but it’s crazy how the music from the game has still stayed with me. Blue Noah, Shiki - Air, Phantasma - Illusion In The Sky firm favourites that I still return to today. Beloved Oster Project also. Also my first taste of Sonic R Soundtrack through You’re My Number One. Still got my top 1000 players shirt as well. Really happy FFR is still going.
