Following up on this thought, what is the mechanical reasons NOT to no lynch here? If it's just because "Your Vote is Your Power" then I think in this scenario it can be on the table. I get that it technically puts scum ahead, but it might be worth it if it saves us from lynching a Marlin.

At the very least if it comes down to us CFDing at EOD I am I favor of defaulting to it

and MML immediately splits the difference instead of engaging roundbox on the issue. Giving the exact reasons why No lynch is a bad option (wagonomics and lynching is our only way to kill wolves).

The idea is here wolves can only kill 3 NON-Marlin players tonight so if a Merlin dies it has to be a mislynch. The question is now do we risk mislynching a Merlin (assuming we don't "catch" a wolf) or do we let wolves get ahead on us one kill in exchange for making sure all 3 survive.

Now, not having wagonamics might make it totally not worth it again. Plus, you're correct that we're going to have to lunch to win eventually anyway.

I don't buy that MML thought no lynch was a good idea and 180'd as soon as he got flak for it. Feels disingenuous.

Old Meta on Freezin from my ancient TWG player notes says "Tends to disappear day 1 as a wolf and starts becoming active D2-3 usually before UTR players start getting pressured". Seeing similar characteristics this game.



Mellon and I are never on the same page so her not liking my MML vote came as 0 surprise.


I like roundbox because he can think and he's pretty much a never lynch for me D1 unless he slips up hard.
I like Bug kid for no overarching reason but his posts feel rather natural and flow well.
I like WV because we've been generally of the same mindset.

I think I like my vote on WV a bit less than I did earlier, but if he does this again next phase I'd be leaning towards him again...

Freezin is good with me, I liked how he dropped off the kid gloves early on and got us all talking....But he did go UTR with FFA as a wolf last game and just watched town collapse, so I'm a little weary about that.... but will give a pass because he's sick for today.

I can't read Manti at all, as this is the first time I've ever played with the man, so I can't give a good opinion on how I feel about him

Roundbox being blunt and saying "I don't have to comment on every little thing" is iight

He was the catalyst behind us talking about the Merlins. In fact, he was the first to mention anything about Merlins (I did just go back and check as of 21:44)

I'm not sure what possessed him to do that, but I came into this game under the pretense that we would just never speak of them to give the wolves a harder time...That's a bit weird to me...Plus the weird vote on WV using this reasoning:

This is the post that I interpreted weirdly. I thought it was sarcasm at the time, as 99% of what I read from people online I interpret as sarcasm, but after thinking a bit more about it, it does feel like genuine frustration on his part.

in my experience playing with him recently, he is like this regardless of alignment but /shrug
