I use my desk chair for a bar, probably should've included that in the pic. My laptop's screen size isn't the worst honestly. When I'm actually playing I can see pretty clearly. I use the 3.9 SMMAX theme for 5 cuz I like it better, Simply Love looks a little too minimalist for my DDR StepMania setup. I'm trying to emulate the feel of the classic DDR games. Most of what I play are old stuff like 1st Mix - EXTREME. The tape is a leftover from when I taped the mat to my bedroom floor to keep it in place. It doesn't really work so well on a carpet.

About a decade ago I had the bright idea to try and clean it with nail polish remover, it did too good of a job (read melted the plastic/smeared the text) and I shamefully stashed it away until recently. The plan is to make a video documenting the process!
