Ben's posts aren't great in a vacuum, but I'm more alarmed by the escalation of his wagon. I'm inclined to believe in the early voters, but the traction he's gotten is not natural (esp. Lewdy's post). this isn't a free pass for ben--- when he is present in the thread, we absolutely should hold him to a higher standard of content and insight. force the issue with him when he has read more of the thread.

bugkid's push on twgma is good too. I think twgma could use more pressure. (I don't disagree with twgma's perspective about lynching new players, that's not the point.)

Ben is an "easy target" now and doesn't seem to be here to defend himself. The content of Lewdy's post is also basically copypasta from others (i think freezin?)

When I was reading Ben's post chain, I got the impression that his posts were useless--- but specifically, it didn't appear as if Ben had actually read the thread. So his comments about "graph stuff" weren't him regurgitating a dead topic from his POV, but actual insights he was generating with incomplete knowledge regarding the state of the "graph stuff" discourse.

But also a thing that I picked up was this. I feel we're mindmeldin a bit here too because of this I said around the first benguin vote happened.
