Looks really clean, kinda a nice middle ground between an arrow noteskin and bar noteskin!
I can see this being better for downscroll, but upscroll players might prefer it pointed up. Maybe you can make a variation? (:

woops the first thing that came into mind when seeing the title was that you were making lotion or something
this is interesting take on an arrow noteskin though, i think the gradient might be a little harsh for my tastes but i like the shape a lot! has the feel of arrows but without so much visual clutter

thanks! I think cammys interpretation was exactly what I originally imagined which was to be a cross between note bar (being less cluttered) but like you say still feeling like an 'arrow'.
