You basically can't predict/confirm things based off mechanics on a bastard game; that's half the appeal for people though.

Think of it this way

We normally play soccer but today we play Calvin Ball. None of the soccer strats are gonna really help and you will win or lose based less on skill and more on funny jank.

It's fun now and again
