A little bit redundant when the current List of All Major Simfile Packs For StepMania and Other Resources thread indicates beginner-friendly packs as designated by the blue star (★). Also, segregated by category like keyboard and pad play.
However, I might just add a link to this thread in the sticky to be supplementary as this does give recommendations to people rather than a list of everything, although it is rather biased on selection. Also probably has more recent packs since I've fallen behind on updating.

Getting a couple thousand random files is hardly a good way to start the game and most of those don't even have a descriptive name for someone not familiar with the community.
At the very least some curation over the quality and/or content of the packs would make the list much more useful. You know, like the list that already exists.

Just finished playing FFR Community Pack Novice Files Compilation
I Played all the files and managed to get 3 full combos and 1 AAA for reference I am Division 4 on ffr which makes me an Expert Would recommend if you like mines but don't really care about full combos edit-Now that I'm not tipsy and playing the lower difficulties I am enjoying it Last edited by Andy_M; 03-17-2019 at 10:02 AM.. |
