to write a more deliberate list (or rather to avoid writing a whole list of things for files that I just mostly ignored) I'll point out the files that stood up for me:
弥久之神楽 (びきゅうのかぐら) - This file started out great. It feels good, it follows the beat nicely and everything, but where it falls apart is at the 42 second mark. The heavy layering doesn't do a good job complementing the change in the music (and the forced ghost notes don't help it). After 1:16 the heavy layering (heavy layering being part of the greater issue) stops you from properly charting the sounds that play from 1:19.676-1:19.937 and so on. Rest pretty much follows suite with the other issues pointed out. Sword Fight - Definitely the best file from you in the pack. No other complaints really than the heavy usage of hands taking away some of the pitch relevancy that could be achieved with jumps. Onett - cute Odoru Akachan Ningen - you already know what you're doing and I already posted saying your file is cool My main problem with the pack is honestly the fact that you decided to release it so soon with all the huge paragraphs you wrote about taking a long time to put this out to make it out as good as possible. Song choice may not be a problem for others, so that's good I guess. Last edited by riktoi; 04-18-2018 at 05:15 PM.. |
