My reasoning for thinking Chrono Trigger is better is entirely because I deeply adore the concept the game provides.

Also a big plus for the game being very flow-y in terms of moving around, combat, and item management.

Pretty much it.

As minor as it may seem to you, I actually don't like FF6 mostly due to how clunky you move since it's one of those games where it treats everything like a square.

I hated that shit as a kid, hate that shit in Pokemon, it's annoying.
