It looks like one of: a style the Acquisitioner will never imitate, one they will abandon quickly if they are the Acquisitioner, or a play aimed at making sure the Acquisitioner can't infiltrate the wolves using IBM as a vector. I'm favoring the latter two interpretations.
Obviously it's annoying, but voting people who are annoying is not the point of the game, even if their posts have to be run through a lowercase generator or something. I think you going out of the way to explain this is very good, though.

The bit about the Acquisitioner is a very interesting point and one I hadn't thought of. There's also the fourth interpretation that they are the Acquisitioner themselves, unless that's what you meant by the second suggestion. I think drawing attention to themselves that way would be a net negative though. By the same logic as your third suggestion, a village-aligned CEO should not want to be Acquired, though, since their acquisition would be bad for the village and would also be an acquisition that doesn't happen to the wolves.

Admittedly I have to wonder if it is average to have thought out the use of the role like this, and it could be something IBM has done to be silly and isn't alignment indicative. However in the reply preview they are still doubling down on it despite this being raised and complained about by half the game.

I like the thought process going on there anyway and don't have any objections, except the bit that could be begging the question.

When I was last in the thread everything was roleplay and I didn't have a tremendous amount of time, so sorry in advance if I post too much as I catch up over the next few hours.
