^This is exactly why I stopped caring about Pokemon games since Silver. Every. Single. Game. IS THE SAME. Usually that's not a problem if the gameplay warrants said sameness, but the pacing is just soooooooo sloooooooow that I mentally just couldn't take it anymore x.x

Pokemon Go is just what this series needed: Something different I just wish there were more stops around me that I could walk to. Having to drive around to get to anything is a big deterrent for me since I'm trying to be really careful with my spending x.x Fixing finance issues is hard, bro.

The higher level you become the higher cp pokemon you encounter. Don't sweat getting low cp monsters at first.

If you want a high level Pokemon, before you evolve it, power it up as much as possible. The meter before the avatar should be filled all the way. Ie, I had a maxed out Eevee at 491 and it evolved into a 1332 Vaporeon.

No, just catch a better eevee. Using stardust at all before level 30 is a waste.

You'll find that powering up a 400CP eevee and then evolving it will result in a pokemon that will be useless to you next week when you catch a 600CP eevee simply because you've leveled up 5 times.

It's more of a treasure hunt kinda game for now. Once it's developed way more perhaps I'll have more interest but it's not for me. I tried planting a lure and hanging out last night and it got me out and walking, but little more. I walked into a pitch black forest and got lost as well (phone died mid-way) so that was a little thrill lol.

Servers seem to be back, and yeah its finally Canada official. Worth the wait?? Depends how much you like treasure hunts.

Caught a pinsir and hatched both a scyther and electabuzz, though it was dismal meeting a number of tryhards that were lvl 20+ lmao, ah well i guess i'll just have fun going at my own pace

I'm level 15 and I've basically spent 5 hours of actual "serious" playing in maybe a week?

working 7 days straight sucks. thursday though my level will go on because a 4 day weekend is coming.
