Anyone remember this from the old days of FFR?
I'd assume very few of you have been on this site long enough to remember this oddity, but for the few that have been around from the start, this should bring back some repressed memories.
You'd go into the (then existent) simfile database, look up a song you wanted to play, wait for the flash thing to loud, but it would fail part way and instead of the song you wanted to hear it'd play this https://soundcloud.com/heika-gerard-gamer/alex-stage-jazzy-nyc-99-street-fighter-iii-strike-ost-hq so you would keep refreshing, just hoping, praying that it wouldn't be that song again. No one ever figured out how or why, but that particular song broke the simfile player, and it still haunts me whenever I play Third Strike. Do any of you guys remember some other odd happenings from FFR's hay day?

I remember you could play any song (including secret and tokens) by receiving a challenge with that song from someone that already had it.

Re: Anyone remember this from the old days of FFR?
I've been around to hear that but don't remember because I never tried playing anything from the simfile database (though I looked at it a couple of times).
I miss being able to send challenges, lol. Weren't there also some hidden arrows in some of the Legacy stepfiles that let you get a higher score than possible otherwise? |

The stepfile for that song was awful. It was offsync and had 3/16th stuff at the wrong BPM.
