Appeasing to the crowd is not sunfan's style I feel, or if it is, I honestly don't recall it being.

Fuck you sunfan, you sly fuck, get exposed!

Here, in the beginning of my shenanigans, he was trying to appease me, and fuck you sunfan, I know your shit. Fuck your pocketing nonsense.

Then he tries appeasing to the crowd.

And then finally he shares his "plan", a plan that I wasn't ever going to follow until roundy over here suggested something better.
No it's abundantly clear that you suspected sunfan

but your thought process in describing the "vigi" makes no sense

what did you go "unless..." for?

hold on.. i thinking something....... wouldn't it be best just to use the hider as a free seer? i mean..... with cardflips off.. it might just be a good idea to have the actual hider claim and say who they hid behind. (not who they are hiding behind). the suggested everyone claim who you're going to hide behind just sounds stupidly convoluted. with card flips off we have no way to say "bob died and was the hider. he hid behind either bill or george" having everyone claim gives more info to the woofs than anyone else....

please realize im not saying the hider should claim now, but in the place where they feel they can protect someone by having hid behind them or feels that they need to make some townies locked clear it wouldn't be a bad idea...

Well with a potential vigi and a hider and a woof, there could be a max three deaths, right? so I wasn't sure if I was understanding the situation correctly.

Wanna go, bro?

because the wolves can just target the hider once they claim, nulling any info we can get from the night.

I do think you're right in that if the Hider stays alive for 2-3 phases it is highest utility for them to claim and list all the people they didn't die hiding behind for the sake of lock-clearing those players.

But if you want to use the Hider as a Seer, the convoluted bit of the plan is just as important. If they die, we don't get any information - hence, hypothetical hides. They are convoluted, yes, but they are definitely worth doing. The only ones you even have to worry about are from the people who die.

again, im not saying the hider needs to claim now... or ever.... just that it would be a better idea that the hider claims at a time they feel is right instead of giving this weird claiming hiding spots thing.....

Who's the one who suggested a better plan? Was it Roundbox or buns?

Roundbox was opposed to it if I recall, let me go back to the post.

There it is.

I feel you, Storn. This is a game where lock-clearing three players (the two safe targets plus the Hider themselves) would absolutely be worth the claim.

I don't think this is a good phase for a Hider claim, but if they survive until next one I think that information would totally be worth claiming for.
