![]() ![]() Click the image or this text to download the pack! (~311 mb) Medium Quality (~198 mb) r21 Ready (~149 mb) The medium quality release sacrifices audio quality and makes the pack folder slightly less organized but significantly smaller. The r21 ready release contains all <5 mb charts (bad audio quality) and patched length files with no graphics or readme. Hello! This is The Apocalypse Sampler. I realize this is a pad pack, but I assume some of the keyboard players might be interested in this. The point of this pack is to showcase the diversity of stepartists stepping hard pad stuff in 2015. The minimum difficulty for expert charts in this pack is 17 (ITG scale) and it features 78 charts to 40 songs created by 11 different step artists. The music, step style, and types of hard stuff in this pack are all very diverse, so there should be something here for anyone interested in harder files. I generally come to a pack idea with goals in mind, as I have with Oh Henry! and Cranked Pastry, but this time around the goal is much more simple. The upper limit of ITG needs to be raised and that can't be done with more charts, primarily those in the 20+ range. As a group effort, we demolished this goal. At an average difficulty for expert charts of 19.3, this blows packs like Cranked Pastry out of the water. It is pretty comparable to Tachyon Epsilon in terms of difficulty, except that it doesn't only focus on footspeed. Songlist: I don't know why the formatting messes up a little bit. There are a ton of things I have to say about this pack and a ton of people I need to thank/give shoutouts too. All of these things are present in the readme for the pack, which is found in the pack folder (unless you downloaded the r21 ready version). I spent many, many hours on the readme so hopefully you enjoy it. It is at least common courtesy to thank everyone who had files in the pack here: @@, Aoreo, Archi, Arvin, Fraxtil, Janus5k, Lolipo, Parrax, TYLR, and Zaia, I appreciate the help and tremendous effort you all put forth in getting this pack to exist. I look forward to any work you guys put out in the future. The original readme was very large in size, (~22 mb), so what is in the pack is the original and compressed version. In the medium and r21 releases, there are no readmes, so if you want them seperately, click Here to get the high quality readme and Here to get the compressed version. With that, get to beasting. and Get Cromdaled.

![]() Interesting songlist, probably going to check for keyboard play purposes.

![]() i care nothing for pad but i can definitely appreciate acute attention to detail and excellent quality (at least from a pack organizational and informational perspective as i'm not qualified to make any judgement on chart quality)
i actually have a friend who was pretty big into the itg community a couple years ago and i was talking to him a week ago or so and showed him sml and he said the itg community would be tripping over itself to have a similar resource e: im actually really curious about something... http://smrankings.net/packs/view/152 given that the two difficulty scales are entirely independent and i'm sure what makes pad files hard versus what makes keyboard files hard is also entirely different, it's pretty incredible that the results line up as closely as they do Last edited by MinaciousGrace; 09-18-2015 at 01:14 AM.. |
