hey lazboy, the youtube format is ok if that's the only thing you can do, however, we do ask that you use a backing track that does not contain the original vocals, because it's alot harder to distinguish your voice from the backing.

if it's from jojo, you can probably get the op/ed/ost/whatever album it's on, most of those albums actually come with instrumental tracks

I'm no Luciano Pavarotti but in the spirit of an audition round, here's a super common audition song for Idol/Talent shows. Also I recommend headphones and somewhat loud volume to reduce weird static reverb thing.

I found an instrumental track for Sono Chi no Sadame, and, with a little bit of simple iPhone editing, I can make it less than 90 seconds. Do I need to redo it? I was planning on using YouTube for my submissions because I'm not sure how to use other voice recorders like SoundCloud.

if you can that would be superb, length is much less of a factor determining scores than properly being able to hear your vocals (maybe face the microphone too? just a couple suggestions to be best heard)

otherwise, youtube would be fine for a submission if you're not familiar with soundcloud

I think I have decent singing, but I'm not sure.
