I legitimately wanted them to count for Kanzas so I could troll him with them later.

Not sure if I can do much better on this. I kept hitting 100+ goods which was making my score sit around 56-57k but then pulled this one from no where. Really don't wanna have to play this again, I had over 50 restarts before this. Hopefully this is enough to hold 2nd place.



EDIT - I lied. Very minor improvement. The better my raw score gets, the worse my rank is.

Another 1-level-up challenge for me, this time being D4.
(Note: 1/16t means 1/16 triplets, or 1/24)

I hated the 1/16 to 1/16t changes in this. Also, I'll be posting ONLY the first score I get on all excluding Final Round.

Pretty good score. Previously unplayed.

I improved by ONE AVERAGE.

I have played this one before, but I couldn't wrap my head around the 1/32 notes and jumpstreams in the last part.

I suck at left-handed jacks.

I learned something today. I can't jumpstream 1/16t notes at that speed.

2-Level-Up Score in D4: 355,475 (4th place)

BONUS:

I had to play this song. It was too tempting. (I mostly messed up on the second set of mini-jacks and some of the triplets around 4/5 of the way through)

I just want to note that as a host of many tournaments myself, you've done a good job with this tournament.

One pointer I'd make is that have a cumulative raw score tournament, it puts much more weight on the final two round songs. That's ok and all as long as you're aware of it. A difference in skill between D4 players on a 60, for example, might be a difference in 5 goods, but on a 70 could be a difference in 25-100 goods based on how dense the chart is. There are possible alternatives, but I just wanted to point that out.

Well, after playing Since 1983 several times, I've learned that playing during a roaring headache isn't the best of ideas, but more importantly, I've learned about my flaw in finger speed that I'll have to work on. Every ordeal reveals something, I suppose, but it's an ordeal I'm rather thankful for. I've now got a source telling me to push my own limits.

Also, bleh. I can't handle the stream speed.
