I figured I'd bring it up since I sincerely doubt that was the stepper's intent and that it was some conversion error. It makes the file pretty unplayable unfortunately.

by the way, interesting note here: if nothing is done with regards to the massive RQing, all of the no-shows are treated as auto 0s, and the number of competitors to be eliminated is rounded up, one person who actually submitted a file will get eliminated from group b
if that actually happens, the loser should totally get the all skill token

pretty cool how some sections of my group c file are nearly identical in patterns to others. after playing through all of them i honestly think i prefer mine, but a couple others were done well enough to be accepted into the batch imo.

difference is, at least for me, that i feel like tournaments like this could be constructive and possibly get more people to start stepping good files (which, let's be real here, we need more people making decent shit. at most there's like 20 someodd people making decent files these days.) whereas tournaments revolving around playing the game itself don't really need that curve because we've already got enough people playing as is lmao

also not revealing anything but 3 isn't mine. hell, my file doesn't even look/play like a file i'd make, ever.

yeah i can see where you're coming from. definitely needs to be more people stepping though for sure.

pretty sure i know what file you're talking about (BTBAM file iirc) and there was indeed nonsensical note coloring in it
