Is there a difference between glitch step and glitch hop?

Glitch hop has a more hip hop sound to it, like the early Glitch Mob stuff, or edIT. Glitch step sounds like dubstep but more broken and glitchy sounding

Every time I try to step a song that sounds promising it just ends up boring and I throw it away. I guess, I will just make bad graphics until I can find something I don't throw away ;___;
