alright.

i think it's also in everyone's interest to hear all your reads before you make that pick. it's kinda half-nice when you know the time of your death

Yeah trying to read bomber choices is really dangerous... at least in this point in time.

Should probably treat this as a regular mafia game, with two town kills.

Mellon comes off as either doe-eyed human or tryhard wolf.

igot, you're not making any fucking sense.

please construct full thoughts. you can't expect us to understand everything you're thinking about with the shit that you're posting

what you just retorted back at sunfan is dumb as hell - he's saying that your description of them being tryhard is wrong, which has literally nothing to do with how wolfy or how human someone is. You can have tryhard humans, or tryhard wolves.

besides

Quote:

what the fuck does this actually tell anyone about what you're thinking

that statement is fucking useless as hell. "Mellon is either a human or a wolf" well no shit

basically, start giving shits if you want to play.

i'm less concerned about mellon right now than afro, and maybe backpack.

at least from personal experience, backpack does take his time to analyze shit, but he's much more careful in where he tries to place his entrances; he hasn't actually made any contributions or big posts or w/e yet. however, his human play is usually denoted by excitedness, and less little shitposting.

arfy needs to pop into thread, preferrably sooner than later

and actually, on that note, halogen is teetering on the border of slipping utr, although it kinda seems like he's made at least some contribution

more rambling from me sorry guys

you should be able to, more in this game than any other. in this game the wolves are basically picking a VIGI. they have to be relatively sure that they can either sway the person they choose via the thread, or that the person will not choose them based on some kind of predisposition.

now's as good a time as any to say that I think (online) meta is mostly bullshit, you don't give credit to personal circumstances that affect posting day-per-day, for example I've been packing all of my belongings this entire weekend so that could affect how i post. Not to mention how AN has been affecting a few people: there are always circumstances that subtly affect our behaviors... unless you are super confident in your induction skills, meta doesn't really help

I mean, granted, in the long term (both per-game and per-career) you can probably get somewhere, but having a restricting "personality sheet" for each character isn't the best way to go about things, imo. And in this specific case, I've played exactly 2 games online... just be careful

Anyway, I'm really, really wondering what Hans is thinking... but igotrhythm's last post would have sold me on voting for him if voting still mattered today.

Might be wrong, but I think this is in response to the plan that was devised earlier to "force" the wolves to pick bombers to see who the wolves are. The counterclaim is that in this situation, it's easy for the wolves to randomly pick wolves to throw us off

At this point I'm wondering if people are picking me because I suck at this game or if they just don't want to see me shitposting anymore.

i'm talking about hans. night one the wolves are not going to pick someone they're afraid of. meaning these wolves arent scared of hans. who those people are, hans might have an idea.

he certainly will be able to say more than i would.

honestly if hans werent a confirmed human i would be voting for his non contributing ass right now.

I'm hoping that with Anime North being over, we see a bit more activity from the other players; there's not too much to work with other than igotrhythm's general lack of awareness about what's going on.

Also:

I disagree with his counter-claim personally, assuming that I read it correctly; I especially can't see wolves targeting other wolves in a game so volatile -- with a bomb selection and a lynch happening every in-game day, two people being killed at any given point poses too much risk to the wolf team with a 7:3 player ratio. A solid read from a townie and a random wolf bomber pick potentially kills off two wolves (2/3 of the wolf team?). Correct me if this isn't the point you're trying to get across, BackPack.

Reading the wolf team might not be possible through picks as you/Backpack said, but it's still worth noting that a bomber who is willing to work with the rest of the townies ensures that the townies have slightly more leverage in their picks.

The wolves don't ever need to pick a wolf: just take the list of townies, randomize it, there you go.

yall is completely retarded

I've been in Ontario since the middle of last week. I got on the Internet a couple of times at MELLONXCOLLIE's house using her computer and/or slumming it on my wifi-only shitphone. But seriously, I had many things on my mind more important than a fucking twig. I couldn't even try to keep up with these stupid posts even if I wanted to. I was also drunk/high for most of the past few days, so there's that too.

annnnnnnnnnnnnnd if i wasn't already pretty confident you were a wolf, this would have done it for me

not sure why you even would bother sticking your neck out to bring up your wolf partner when he's being so obvious

i'm not sure who #3 is tho

I would have called it as cedolad there, but I guess not, eh? What the hell even happened there? Can we get the full story?
