YouTube is owned by Google but YouTube are the people who ultimately made the decision. So technically, it will be owned under YouTube which is owned by Google.

But how does this imply that Google owns Twitch? Even if it's by extension they didn't make the deal themselves, so I would imagine Youtube would have a great deal of control over what happens to Twitch.

edit: what I'm trying to ask is why people are assuming G+ will assimilate into Twitch (or anything else Google could do) when Youtube could make sure it stays an arm's length away from Google at all times.
