Which stepchart, to you, is as close to perfect as it gets?

There's quite a few for me but the first one's that come to mind (on FFR that is) are System Doctor and Xanthystrauma. But that's strictly opinion, I do agree that it's a very subjective question.

oh, and i guess to me Toki is the perfect chart (Moches, idk if there are multiple)
The Bridgeport Run is also really good even if it has some parts that are kinda gay to play
theres probably others that i cant think of right now, been playing too much ODI3 lately I guess

These days, I told A2P that GLoVE was pretty much the ultimate step artist. His files were hard, yet really fun to play. They were technical, but not a clusterfuck of colors and weird patterns some people used in the last years just for the sake of "looking technically correct". They were sorta unique because, even if there wasn't a GLoVE's cover art, you'd knew it was a file of him. And, most of all, the replay value of his charts were off the fucking hook. Most of my favorites files are by him: Born, Endless Sacrifice, This Dying Soul, Taking Back My Soul.

Another step artists that makes me feel like this towards his files, after some time, are wc and Kommisar. wc had the almost perfect balance of technicality and fun, just like GLoVE: Crunk de Gaulle, Liquid Requiem, Shuriken Cut, even fucking A Quick Death. Kommisar threw the most files I played, ever: Bad Maniacs, Licky, Plasmatextor, Staring at my Spaceship, Jumper, Retard Drums v2.

All of these files are my answers for this question. And they all represent my opinion, given my arguments.


EDIT: I forgot to mention ==Planet Karma==. Despite Stargroup wasn't mentioned, this file is also as close to perfect as any can get.

EDIT: played Plasmatextor again and that one might be the one for me if I had to choose. Just love how well the file flows with that song. But still just way too many good ones I can't choose just one. Kinda depends on what I'm in the mood for playing as well.

Certainly not "amazing" by any actual degree. If I remember right this chart is just needlessly jumped into oblivion?

Destiny v2

First one wasn't much worse? I still see no need for this to even exist in game really. Like I think the copy on Thirdstyle is like textbook garbage but it's at least significantly different. (Granted this V2 plays better than the first one, it's not really notably different otherwise. It's like a patched version of the chart if anything.)

I have a few issues with this one that force me to say no. However, of your list so far, this is the best pick. The rolls are a bit of a killer for it. They're correct and I mean they suit it but just some of them just bother me. I'd need to actually dissect this to pinpoint things.

Absolutely not. Both copies of this song feel like they're slightly off sync, have some really rigid patterns that just bother the mighty crap out of me. Also, rainbows and the song itself piss me off. Stupid happy crap that taunts you as you play it.
