Which is why we need new categories. People don't even pay attention anymore they just vote for the same things even though it might have nothing to do with the current year they are voting for.
Or you could make some rule about not being able to be picked twice. |

You want to put the onus for more work onto this site's users?
They'd need to look up who won last year, or every year, and then pick new people, and it's not like anybody who habitually wins in a category has stopped applying to it. If you have the worst avatar, and win worst avatar every year, maybe you just have the worst avatar. The idea of someone not being allowed to win even when they are the clear winner is silly. So is awarding things to people who didn't win because of an idea that they are owed or due a win. This is also why I refuse to watch film awards shows. |

Yes, I think people should vote for people that actually fit the category for that year. Your premise is just wrong that you can assume that everything is the same this year as it was last year. People come and go, people change.
As an example, reach barely even posted this year. Hakulyte played a lot less this year and still wins gamewhore. I'm mostly implying that there really needs to be new categories because the alternative to fix how boring the results are every time can potentially be unfair. |

As for being able to win FFR gamewhore: is there a way to view how many games said player has played for said year? Maybe set a minimum games played to be eligible for nomination.

Oh, another thing:
Those of you that voted ssbmchamp for FFR Gamewhore this year: glad to see that you all were paying attention. ssbmchamp should have absolutely destroyed the FFR Gamewhore vote for this year. ![]() |

Thank you guys, I did not expect the recognition for favourite poster. I figured all of my posts just saturate with the rest like salt in pasta water. I appreciate it a lot, you're a great basket o' bagels c: I might be making some profiles again here and there just to celebrate (already done one~).
