Welcome to the Team Edmonton Thread



Description:

I saw all these teams popping up in the forums and wondered "why are none of these local?" so I made a local team.The Edmonton is a team based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. All members are currently based in Edmonton. This team is made for
a.) a local sub-community within FlashFlashRevolution
b.) the 10th FlashFlashRevolution tournaments and following FlashFlashRevolution tournaments and events.

Sign-up Process:

Email edffrteam@gmail.com with the subject "team sign up" with a link to your FFR account and a reason why you want to be a part of Team Edmonton. Also if you are invited or referred by a team member please leave the name of the team member in the email. YOU MUST FIT ALL OF THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS TO BE ON THE TEAM

Requirements:
- Must be an active player, playing at least once every week ( or close to )
- must have at least 50 games played (about 10 hours )
- must have more that 5,000,000 grand total score (about 25 hours )
- must have an account older than 63 days (0.2 years)
- must have over 30 forum posts ( no spam )
- must live in Edmonton,Alberta,Canada
- no sub accounts / alt accounts for use on the team

Rules:

Rules are based on a 10 point system where each member starts with 10 points and loses points for infractions. If a member loses all of the given points, actions will be taken and the member will either get kicked and banned from the team or receive a strike(limit 1) where the next infraction will result in an kick and ban from the team. The rules are:

-no sandbagging (hiding skill) [4 points]
-no cheating [10 points / instant kick and ban ]
-don't misrepresent team [3 points]
-don't be overly rude to fellow team members or admin [5 points]
-don't be overly rude to members of other teams [6 points]
-don't invite people who are not from Edmonton [7 points]
-Don't be an idiot or make idiotic posts on behalf of our team[3 points]
-No sub accounts / alt accounts for use on the team [ 10 Points / instant Kick and ban ]
- Admins must be suggested to be dethroned by 5 people, after there are enough suggestions a poll will be conducted ( there is currently 1 admin, suggestions won't count )

- Recommended : Over 150 Games Played
- Recommended : Positive Attitude

You know, I kind of dig this concept, just individual Skype rooms for people who live in a Province/State. Would make some meetups more likely to happen.

Yeah I was thinking along similar lines as charu. Didn't really register with me in the PM as you meaning a TEAM team. Though on the other hand we do have things like k120. But something like this might be better organized as a regional skype thread with "skype admins" by region who can add new people to the convos. Lest we end up with 110 new 3-5 player teams.
