Never use autofail on tourney songs... it screws over potentially good runs like yours and is the leading cause of mind-block syndrome

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
Yeah D5 song feels more like a 75-76ish to me, but I could be based since I'm good at dumpy stuff like that.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
I've noticed that my right hand likes to freeze up (and resorts to vibrating) when it encounters a section which is too fast, rather than good-dump because of lack of speed... is this supposed to happen or am I getting carpal
EDIT: Yes D6 I am having trouble on this song |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
...All things considered, beary. Getting 15-0-2-0 is still pretty impressive. Man, you've improved in such a short time, ya know.
D3 winner last official, now top 16 in D6 this official. I think that's quite the accomplishment in itself, so don't fret if you can't beat the others this round. I can't seem to play the song at all. The runningmen and trills just completely destroy me. |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
i had autofail on because it's already AAA or die, anything other than that is a waste of time

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
i recommend playing it on mirror and 1.1 or 1.2 rate for 15-30 minutes
then going back to non mirror 1.0 |

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
Got 7-0-0-1 on the tourney file... if I'm not warmed up enough I can't do it at all. Its definitely AAAable...just gotta fluke the awful 32nd transitions toward the end.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
flash 10 (and website vers) has these terrible frameskips where the arrows speed up and slow down. flash 9 (which i'm using) can't use rates >_>

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
oddly enough for me i have no problems with that, i usually get 1-2 goods on it, but then i get 10 goods randomly on easy bits throughout the song every single time
for instance, goods #1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 edit: YES

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 5
Give it a day or so before trying it again. Also play other songs of a similar difficulty. Find that usually works for me
