I think there should be a looser's bracket in these tourney's . Or just for fun have the tournament board record scores even after loosing, to see if the previous round song just targeted someone's weaknesses

They use the same dashboard each time, so it gets cleared out for the new tournament. Someone might be able to dig up the results, but I don't have any advice really.

I really don't know about the other divisions (other than samurai winning D7) but you could at least get the top 3/5 from old front page posts.

holy crap^

the tourney from ~July 2009 (no idea what official it was...maybe 4th or 5th?) had 1230 participants across 5 divisions...that's insane. lol at rubix beating leonid in D5 btw...wonder if that was botted play

The 2nd official had way less entrants iirc maybe only 32, I actually think you had to be seeded or something and it was 1v1 elimination rounds to songs that were already in game, not to mention the whole av-miss thing and only legacy songs to choose from + combo scoring blah blah blah rofl. I prefer how the tourney is organized much more today

Here's my final D7 predictions now that ppl are placed/registered:

5th: L.B.D.D.
6th: Dynam0
7th: GammaBlaster
8th: OneWingedAngel

The competition after ~3rd place is so tight though that it's going to come down to how the charts pan out. No question there.

edit: wow I still managed to forget all about ji..welp, fixed. Yeah there is a ridiculous amount of skill in D7 this time around. samurai would complicate this even more....I'm gonna be hard pressed to make top 8 *gulp* tried to put myself as high as possible for motivation lol.
