I have skype, but I don't like to use it often. D: I don't know if it would be worth having a group when I would only be on once in awhile.

collaborative effort in keeping it updated though, as drizzle wants to keep using the OP to track players. Right now the spreadsheet is set to open edit, BUT if there are issues I will close the editing to only a few people (and I won't lose anything, I've got a backup copy saving when I edit it).

Day 2 - Spring

HalfStep heads north from the town of Evergreens and is met with a field of grass with a clear, blue sky. He keeps walking but does not find anything of interest. HalfStep, a bit disappointed, mutters to himself, "aww, I was looking forward to encountering a monster so I could train."

alloyus wanders north outside of the town to find a plain grassy field. He walks for an hour or two, and suddenly sees what appears to be an octopus with three heads and a scar on its middle forehead. Quivering, he gets into position and prepares himself to fight the monster. However, he suddenly hears a noise in front of him. He looks ahead, but is met with silence. One moment later, he hears the sound again, and realizes that it is coming from the monster. He realizes that the monster is talking to him! The monster says, "Hello, I am a monster of the Grassy Plains, and I have many siblings in this region. I would appreciate it if..." The monster is cut off by alloyus when he hesitantly tries to cut off one of its many heads. However, he misses and does not deal any damage. Although alloyus isn't confident about his fighting skills, he knows that he must kill monsters to survive in the country of Letters. The monster angrily replies, "How rude, attacking me when I'm still talking! Fine then, I'll try to kill you too!" The monster hits alloyus and deals one heart of damage. alloyus tries to attack again by cutting off its feet and deals 2 hearts of damage to the monster. The monster retaliates by spitting out a round-wooden object at alloyus and deals 1 heart of damage to him. alloyus deals the finishing blow by dealing 2 hearts of damage to the monster, effectively killing it. alloyus gains a total heart for a total of 11 hearts; he has 8/11 hearts left, and gains 20 sharps from the monster. alloyus' level is now Level 2! Later that day, alloyus runs into HalfStep and runs up to him to greet him. However, HalfStep is in a bad mood for not having seen anything of interest on his first day and coldly tells alloyus, "I don't mind if you follow me, but don't get in my way." alloyus is taken back, but musters a reply, "I won't be in your way, but I hope we can get along. alloyus then smiles at HalfStep, but HalfStep ignores him and keeps on walking.

Elmerz and Lucien both travel west and are met with a beautiful sight of lush, green grass and open space. Elmerz starts the day by saying, "don't worry, Lucien my friend, I will protect you in your times of need, as I am the great and powerful Elmerz!" Lucien smiles back at Elmerz and replies, "thank you for your help; I'm glad that we're working together. I'll make sure to protect you in case you need any help as well." Elmerz walks for the entire day, but does not find anything of value. Lucien, however, encounters a green-eyed ghost with daggers for teeth. He proceeds to attack the monster, but he hears the monster talk to him. The monster says, "Hello, fellow human. How are y-" Lucien has had enough with this monster and interrupts to reply, "sorry, but ghosts are not humans" and proceeds to stab the ghost's body with both swords. He hits the monster and it loses 2 hearts. The ghost retaliates by eating part of Lucien's soul, which deals 1 heart of damage. Lucien deals the finishing blow by jumping and stabbing the monster from above. Lucien gains a total heart for a total of 11 hearts; he has 9/11 hearts left, and gains 20 sharps from the monster, but gives 10 sharps to Elmerz. Lucien's level is now Level 2!

Sorry, but you're knocked out right now, and you won't wake up until Day 3. ^.^

I will proceed with the rest of the events later since they can be handled within the town.

*edit* I forgot to mention that you gain a total heart whenever you level up, but you current amount of remaining hearts remains the same.

It's probably best to explore the area immediately surrounding Evergreens before venturing all over the place, so I suggest to Elmerz that we continue south.
