Xiz thinks he can make some money by looting the knocked out guards. He finds a family portrait of the guard, his wife, and three sons. He also finds a gum wrapper, some leaves(???), and 1 sharp. He decides to take the sharp and leave the rest with the guards.

Xiz currently has 81 sharps.

@Guest15937, Xiz is actually a politician. XD You can check the current status of all of the characters in the original post (OP).

You can't take the wrapper and leaves with you because they have no relevance to the game.

Xiz tries to give the family portrait to the bartender, but sees that the bartender already left the tavern. Xiz mumbles, "aww shucks, now I won't be able to ask the bartender where my pants are. At least I can drink this jug of beer."

Xiz drinks the jug of beer and only for Day 2, he gains 1 damage (which deals 1 heart extra of damage) but loses 25% accuracy and only has a 50% chance of hitting the monster instead of the usual 75% chance. However, none of this affects Xiz because he cannot fight monsters.

Since I can't TAKE the leaves and gum wrapper... and since the bartender left...

Xiz looks around the bar, but cannot find anything else worth examining. Xiz then finds some string and decides to tie the leaves and gum wrapper together to create a hat for himself. Surprisingly, the rest of the people in the tavern didn't seem to notice the previous "incident". Some people stop what they're doing and see Xiz in the most ridiculous-looking hat you could imagine. They laugh and one person shouts, "hey!, you with the funny hat! Why don't you dance for us? We'd love some entertainment!" A lot of people agree with him and start cheering for Xiz.

Xiz, going with his previous idea, proceeds to loot the pockets of the man who originally shouted to him to dance. However, unbeknownst to Xiz, this man is actually an experienced brawl fighter who the regulars of the tavern would not dare to challenge. The man notices Xiz trying to steal from him and starts walking closer in a threatening manner. Xiz gets angry and tries to retaliate, but the man was too quick for him to react. The man throws a few jabs and then uppercuts Xiz's face, costing him three hearts. Luckily, towns have instant healing powers, and he gains them back instantly. However, Xiz is knocked out and the man literally throws him outside of the tavern. When the bartender sees that Xiz has finally left, he walks back inside to reclaim his job of maintaining the tavern.

Marik walks into the bazaar with a quick stride and a sense of purpose. He had been observing what the rest of the adventurers were doing and has decided to question the bazaar owner, thinking that he might have some userful information. Before the man can even greet him, he stares at the old man and asks, "I would like to know some information. I've heard that you used to adventure awhile ago, and I would like to hear everything you know about the surrounding landscapes and regions in the country of letters. Also, do you have any maps of this country? Lastly, what do you think of this town?"

The bazaar owner looks at Marik in bewilderment. He comments, "well you sure know what you want in life. It's been twenty years since I adventured outside of Evergreens, and frankly, I've tried to forget most of what I encountered." He shudders for a brief moment. "I do remember that if you continue to go west, you will reach an area of steep mountains, but that's about it. The man's face turned solemn. Unfortunately, we don't have any maps because anyone who has tried to map out this country has died. As for what I think of this town, I think that the majority of the people who live here are very kind and may be willing to lend you a hand."

Marik leaves the bazaar without even thanking him for his time. He then tries to go to a specialty shop to buy rope, glue, string, sheets of metal, a dagger, a hammer and red dye, but when he finds the shop, he sees a sign on the shop reading, "merchants only". Marik realizes that to buy these items, he will have to ask a merchant to buy the items for him.
