Oh, I do. But it's one no one can tell online, only in person. So I probably seem perfectly normal to you.

Define normal because NOBODY is normal.
Anyways, when I was ~5 I was diagnosed with HFA (High Functioning Autism), I also never share this because usually I'm afraid I might be judged for it because people have been picked on because of Autism and people might treat me differently/not the way I would like to be treated and when I was 14, I was diagnosed with Epilepsy. My seizures are getting better though, which is good. Last edited by SC_coolguy44; 07-3-2013 at 10:33 AM.. |

Just for that reason they changed it from roughly translated "Mental Illness" to "Mental Phenomena(?)" here in Sweden. So psychiatrist dont disrespect anyone.

Well, they call stuff you're born with disability here in Canada, which I get kind of annoyed at. Another thing I get annoyed at is when I go to a disability organization for groups, the staff don't treat us like normal people. Some of them I've quit for that reason. Also the fact that it's called disability where I'm from, I don't really feel comfortable disclosing about it with my school friends.

As far as I know I don't have any mental disorders. Although I've always been a very anxious person and worry about everything. So I've always thought I may have an anxiety disorder, but not bad enough to the point that I feel the need to be medicated.

I've never really gotten around to actually checking in with a psychotherapist or any of the sort. So, I don't know.
I've been having these recurrences where I sit in my computer chair in the dark for almost all day for at least a week of every month or two; playing a plethora of ambient music while having suicidal thoughts. Makes me feel uneasy just by the thought of going through it again.

I have extreme anxiety, and "vertigo" as the doc keeps saying. They put me on lorazepam & meclizine for each. When I was younger I had adhd. I think everyone has some sort of medical thing or another. Nobody's going to be "perfect."
Sorry for replying to this thread late, seeing as how its within the same month, not too big a deal? If there is a prob what's an acceptable time-frame to properly reply to a thread?

i would consider vertigo something you experience, not something that you're diagnosed with lmao
