I've been using standalone for single player for awhile now and that works fine. I did have chrome open though and that could be partially why. I also noticed that my computer is ridiculously dusty and I'm gonna clean it out tomorrow before the tournament starts. Hopefully that will help a little bit because it seems like everything has been rather laggy/choppy as of recent.

hi, internet speed doesn't affect lag. It's your computer.
if you're running windows 7, try doing this: right click -> properties on your standalone check the following boxes: ![]() This removes a TON of lag for me, and might help you. i'm looking forward to playing against you tomorrow !! |

Does that 3pm start time extend a few hours or is that the set time for all matches to begin? I don't get home from work until 8pm so I might be screwed

Yeah, I'm not sure when I'll be here (not to mention ready to play decently), but I'm pretty sure it'll be later. No idea how this will work and I haven't used MP much ever so I don't expect to have much of a chance anyway :P.

How do you get to that place where you check those boxes? It could probably really help me; I lag like crazy all the time.

A couple of questions.
- Raw scoring or total scoring? - With regards to restarts, what defines a round? Would I be allowed to restart once per game, or once per match?

Okay, thanks, I found it. The problem was I didn't know what my flash player even was lol.
Edit: Raw score is what counts, and a 1 round is one match, plus a second match if you lose and then play one in the loser's bracket as that's still considered part of the same round.

Yeah, I have work tomorrow and won't be back until probably around 6 central time, there is no way I can play at 3.

That is rather disappointing. I was looking forward to this, considering me beating you would have been luck anyways. You had a pretty nice easy walk through the bracket as well.

I just got a great idea. I should transfer my credits to another one of my accounts temporarily so that I can't be forced to play secret songs. Lol this is such a good strategy.

- one restart per round, which means however many games it takes to get through the winner's bracket (AND loser's bracket, if necessary). Ensure that you are ready at all times. EDIT: sigh... the drop-off rate due to scheduling is making me sad. I can't delay rounds by like four to five hours because of work scheduling and whatnot because it's not fair to those who have made time out of their day already. =/ Last edited by TC_Halogen; 06-23-2013 at 10:14 AM.. |

Today I can be in the lobby any time from about 2:00 to 10:00 PM, but not for the entire eight hours; though I'm can be pretty flexible. It would be excellent to know when my opponents with schedule conflicts would most likely be online so that I can start hanging out in the lobby well before then.
I'm going to try to check the thread at least every 20-30 minutes. @uni385:North American central standard time, or GMT -5 adjusting for DST.

I think I'm gonna use Velocity for this, but the screen with the MP area makes it too small for me. Is there any way I can adjust this?
