FFR Idol: Token Extravaganza!
19 Contestants | 25 Submissions (Final Update) Your voice cracks as you screech out the disturbingly kawaii chorus of “Kakke Ecko.” You end the recording, stare blankly at the Soundcloud login screen and take a long time to reevaluate your life. Welcome to FFR’s premier event where you will be presented the opportunity to embarrass yourself on the internet for plastic coins! You have been tasked with the epic quest of performing your rendition of any FFR Token song for the world to hear. Your entry will be submitted into a randomly selected draw to win one of PrawnSkunk’s beautifully assembled gift baskets. The rewards? Tokens! Rejoice!! No, unfortunately this is not another support token payout. The spoils involve IRL tokens that you can caress, smell and taste. For your convenience, I have recruited the legion of FFR bots to beautifully handcraft these ancient relics. Perhaps one of these tokens will make a good addition to your ffr setup - perhaps next to your Gorilla Munch cereal? Start Date: June 2nd - submissions are CLOSED! Deadline: June 16th (11:59 PM Server Time) The Rules (don’t break ‘em): • You must (attempt) to sing along with any song on the FFR Normal Tokens or Skill Tokens list. • Post the link to your audio or video recording in this thread, so that everyone may enjoy your masterpiece. • Your selected song must be audible in the background. As contestant of FFR Idol, you are entitled to a backup track! • Your audio/video recording must be uploaded on a public viewing site (https://soundcloud.com, http://www.youtube.com, http://www.newgrounds.com/audio, http://www.vocaroo.com etc.) • No external download links will be accepted as submissions. (ie. no mediafire, dropbox, etc.) *You are allowed to perform an a capella using basic overlay layering. However, I will unfortunately not permit the creation of YTMND-esque remixes, as it gives you an unfair advantage over those who don't have the knowledge of doing something so advanced The Spoils: • Random draw to win 1 of 10 freshly minted FFR Tokens - 9 Silver Tokens - 1 Black Token The FFR Event Staff will additionally collaborate on respective prizes for favorites! • 1st Place: 250,000 Credits + your choice of a Silver or Black Token • 2nd Place: 175,000 Credits • 3rd Place: 100,000 Credits • Participation: 10,000 Credits Good Luck! Re: FFR Idol: Token Extravaganza!
Haha, also in case anyone else asks: yes there are more than 11 tokens in the picture. Those are failed prints and I’m not giving out tokens with holes in them.

Re: FFR Idol: Token Extravaganza!
I'm either singing Korean Madness (just cuz) or TGWP (Full Edition) (just so you guys could hear me butchering 17.5 minutes of offsync vocal/instrumental attempting), or there are a crap ton of other ones I could think of doing, I'll just have to put the list of token songs on notepad and reason why they would be awesome to do. I'll more likey do the Korean Madness one.
Also, @j-rodd123, Support Tokens as a prize as well would be awesome! Last edited by SC_coolguy44; 06-2-2013 at 04:03 PM.. |

Re: FFR Idol: Token Extravaganza!
Hahahaha, this is awesome. I probably won't embarass myself this much for a plastic coin, but good luck to everyone who's gonna do this, looking forward to it.

Re: FFR Idol: Token Extravaganza!
By all means feel free to poke fun at the song, but please try to refrain from losing sight of the event's goal by creating a parody. Keep it tastefully within the boundaries of a "sing-along."
Depends if you can sing and play sax at the same time.. |

Re: FFR Idol: Token Extravaganza!
Suggestion: Split entry's from audio to video, and have 5 tokens for each so that people who can't record video aren't hindered prize-wise.
