Just noticed this on the first post and it should be corrected:

It should be that if they're not on the list and are a simfile artist, their cap is 3 (as having a simfile title indicates you have a file of your own in game and your SAP is 10) and if they are not a simfile author, their cap is 2 (as they have 0 points).

Hm, I remember a while ago you would only get the ten SAP if you got a file ingame after SAP was introduced. When was this changed, do you know?

To be honest, I'm not sure when it got changed. Either way, a huge majority of the people submitting now are people that got their SAP after the system was introduced, so it's not a big deal.

Edit:
also, after my file was uploaded to community engine, i noticed the sync wasn't as good as it was in SM. I changed the offset to better match how it played on FFR, at the compromise of SM sync. Is that going to affect how my file is judged seeing as I think the files are played w/ SM?
