Well, I wish I was in art. (Classes were filled - freshmen almost never get to choose their electives.) I majorly draw for fun, but I practice what I enjoy drawing. Thanks, though!

Oh, when I said art, I meant in university. Well, in any case, if you do plan to pursue it in university, best of luck to you on that.

My mistake, sorry. However, drawing is just a hobby for now. After going through engineering, I may consider art next. (Though, that's quite a ways from where I'm at.) Again, thanks!

Thanks for the compliments! Don't worry - my drawing process is pretty sloppy. I'm just tearing a bunch of pictures in my head and reassembling them into something else. The product comes out distorted, so I'm constantly tweaking what I have until I think it's fine. You just need to keep drawing. Improvement eventually arrives.

It's a gift for a friend at school. 'Just sharing before giving it away.
This is probably my first attempt at drawing ponies seriously, though I've been using a whole bunch of references from Google Images. ^^' I used the smoggy background to cover up the MANY pencil marks that couldn't be erased - except the ones on Fluttershy. (They're probably not totally visible at a first glance, but you'll find them. Also, I have a major problem with proportions, haha.)

Oooo, I likey. Pencil drawings always appealed to me the most. Keep up the good work!

Soooo...uhhhhh...ummmmmm...I finally finished the entirety of season one >.< (I don't have a lot of free time, so this took awhile to do and sacrificing doing other things.) I will say though I have a lot more respect for you brony people and you people who enjoy the show because the show does have some good merit and it's not fair to judge people who watch the show without watching it oneself. The show had interesting storylines, more-than-one-dimensional characters which were very interesting and dynamic, the art/animation is pretty crisp, the humour is witty, the references are refreshing, and it taught me all about friendship :'3

At first I was torturing myself to go to the next episode in the early on but pretty soon I was actually wanting to see the next episode and the next episode and etc.

At this point in time, I would not consider myself a "brony" however. The show is pretty good and I understand the people that like it with a passion but for me, it's not something I'm totatlly crazy about :P And even if I became one, I got my own team to manage. If anything, I'd like both teams to do something fun together

Also, thought this was pretty neat (something I found while browsing on Etsy (no I didn't buy it)), although I'd paint the beak/snout/whatever to a more appropriate color.

I'm glad that you gave the show a shot and enjoyed it! I understand not wanting to fully commit to it, people have priorities and whatnot. That OC is pretty awesome, by the way ^_^

I was gonna say basically the same thing as reuben, looks like he beat me to it lol. (and came baring a sweet piplup pegasus)

The show has some great qualities to it, the personalities of the main cast have quite a charming quality to them and I can see how people became so fond of the whole concept.
On semi-related note, Pinkie Pie reminds me of Dot from Animaniacs. Just throwing that out there.

Funnily enough, there was suppose to be some reruns for Animaniacs on The Hub. I used to love that show as a kid. I should find out whatever became of said reruns.

The show is 100 times funnier when you're older, it's on maybe once a week here in the mornings before pokemon, so I watch it occassionally

I burst out in laughter, I honestly can't remember the last time a tv show has made me laugh that hard.

And for me, being a brony isn't obsessing over the show or the ponies, it's just being able to enjoy the show, having random discussions about it like fans of any other show would, and maybe enjoying the fanarts and the music out there.
