I remember when Sleep was used for the DF tournament for D5 or something.

People had a problem with the "MLP SAMPLING" bit, which is ridiculous.

D3's song is so much friendlier to play this round than last round. No horrible bursts of odd coloured notes, just the odd easy stairway. <3

Plus the song is awesome.

People always have a problem with that, nice to see that that's not happening too much at the moment, or if it is that people aren't being so vocal about it.

This. I'm perfectly fine with people hating MLP. But hating music just for sampling from mlp is foolish. Unless you are sampling from nickelback. That's not okay.

But really, props for the community for being chill.

it's not really ridiculous when some people simply find the voices annoying. i'm sure if it was that same voice and said it was a 3 year old girl providing vocals people would still find the samples annoying

The funny thing is that the sample is VERY hard to know who it is, let alone understand that it's MLP. I guarantee had no one announced it, no one would have noticed.

I can understand that but in the case that's being referred to it was literally just pony hate.
