can't say i like D4's song... Doesn't flow at all to me. bursty files are my thing, and when they flow, they are super fun to play! this one though... bursts seem to come out of nowhere

and playing it more, it's got so many awkward patterns :/

With the exception of the last one, you can't exactly do anything about what's listed because they happen in the middle of constant streams. If you fix/shift one thing upward, it causes a frame issue somewhere in the stream. It's not something that can be controlled, it's the speed of the song that makes it a problem. With 2-9 being 230 BPM, I can't fully clean up streams without making the streams partially off-sync.

It's still relatively easy to score on regardless of light frame discrepancies anyway.

@ Razor: when you sent the file, the audio within the file was 128 kbps -- I have to convert files that are above 160 down to 160 because of direct conversion in Flash, and your file didn't need to be converted. Any audio issues that exist either were present in your initial submission, or are just occurring on your end. Quark's audio is lower quality, but that's not something I have control over, considering the file sent to be had low audio quality to begin with.

This song isn't the sort of stuff I listen to, but I know people will like Blue Stahli. A moderately lengthy song, this actually isn't too bad to play. I wouldn't even say it's much more difficult compared to D1's song. The only tricky part is a 43434 one-handed trill in the middle of the file.

This file is miles harder than D1's song. There's 32nd bursts scattered throughout the file, tougher jump placement in and out of patterns, and even some streams of nothing but jumps at 16ths (which granted, isn't very fast, but still). Not even comparable. D1 players aren't expected to know how to handle themselves with tons of jumps or 32nd bursts that equal 170 BPM 16ths. Yeah, it's not as hard as we hoped and I'm somewhat wondering if the rating that we came to a consensus to is a bit high, but implying that ULTRAnumb is a 6 (or DESIRE DRIVE is an 8) is not correct, at all.

D2: A rock song I like for once and a very good file to go with it.
D3: An awesome song and a very good file.
D4: A decent file although some bursts I feel are un-necessary.
D5: Love the song, brohoof for ponies. It's such a shame that there was a total dump of a file to go along with it. This file belongs in Nuclear Blast lol! XD
D6: At least the file's better than D5's.

desire drive reminds me kind of like chicken you know not really spectacular but i still enjoy it, song also is chicken huehue
ultraNUMB the file is medium rare, my favorite way to have steak ;O. song isn't quite my style but enjoyable

sleep file is yum but a little repetitive, song is tasty as fuuccc~

I enjoy the file, it reminds me of nb packs + it's one of the few stamina-reliant files on ffr right now. The song, however...:P It's not bad, it could just do without the mlp sampling. In my opinion.
