ps3 controllers are really nice and the drivers are easy enough to get for a PC. I'd much prefer to play games on the PC.
Older roms are easy enough to download 1000's of, but newer games take a lot more time to gather together. If I was actually interested in playing videos games like I was in middleschool and highschool I'd probably have 100's of modern PC games on my computer. |

I have somewhere around 250 playstation games and about 60 games on other systems.
I'll bother listing someday lmao.

A lot of the games I have were bought back in the day of release and fuck if I know how that translates to today's value (we didn't even use euro back then, instead we used dutch guilders) but one of my more recent purchases, mystical ninja 2 CiB costed me 75 euros (excl. shipping). On the other hand, Diddy Kong Racing was 14 euros CiB (but then again, it's also not as rare as PAL mystical ninja 2 CiB).

I would say around $500. I buy used and I buy cheap.

Ditto. I used ZSNES for like 5 years since my real SNES died. I thought the save states and stuff are convenient but it kind of takes away the difficulty of the game if you die or get game over etc. I finally bought a real SNES back last year and it does feel like a world of difference just from using a keyboard compared to a real SNES controller. I only use emulators now basically to just take screenshots.

I just cant play my snes because we have it in a different room, and I get twitchy away from the computer.
I dont know why, I just have trouble paying attention. Would love to move it (and my other systems) in here, but then we would lose the purpose of a "chill" room. |

I can't play video games anywhere but in the comfort of my own room. I can't play ROM's either.

Here's my pile of C64 games, I can't be bothered naming them all, but it does include titles like Ms Pacman, Dragons den, Spy hunter, Hellgate, Double dragon, Rambo, Robocop, Grand Prix and other miscellaneous crap. Right now the pic I took of my ps3 game stack won't upload, so I'll just leave you with that. |

Just saw the question about how much was spent:
Probably over a grand, but most of the SNES games that I have were bought when they first came out, so i dodged a bullet like having to pay 500 bucks for an Earthbound cartridge. |
