Okay you want a good reason to turn on marvs?
I will give you an example. Once I got 30 perfects on delerium heavy, with a few bs greats that I typically get. Then one other time I AAA'd it. I have 126 marvs (which is so incredibly terrible you would be suprised)
Now what score is better, and also, what score looks better with marvs off, the one that is actually better, or the one that isn't.

Even if you do not care how many of your perfects are marvs, we do. Also, not turning them on is stupid, because you can't see how much you are improving. Being able to see how much you are improving in the game is almost an essential point and turning on marvs lets you see that quickly. The fact is, its just so hard to AAAA that you don't need to see how you are improving higher than marvs unless you are insane (Then you can move your judge up if you want to track improvement, if I ever reached that point I might just do that infact, cynic does.)

Why do I use marvs when I can't AAA yet and have no hope yet of AAAA? So I can see when I'm better. As I see my marv count going up I know i'm doing things right. You could get so much respect if you played with marvs on, but you choose not to because of your bull shit reason of "I don't care how many marvs I get" yeah well what if I don't care about people on sidewalks, should I just run them over? I mean, lets just use that as a reason for everything.

"Because I didn't care about them."

Yeah, lets just turn this into a world of apathy.

That kind of makes a little bit of sense. Except for hitting people on the sidewalks =\. I agree with Hr2 when your marvs go up, it means you've improved your timing slightly. Just using perfects means you're taking the easy way out of it. Because its a hell of a lot easy to hit a perfect than it is to hit a marv(not really but you get the idea). But you could say it is out of my place to tell you what to do and what not to do.

I turned off marvs like 2 months ago for 2 songs.. It's pretty fun to be only PA'ing songs, but at the same time it fucked up my scores because I had 100000000 on a bunch of songs as the highscore with only an AAA
