this thread would get bumped as i got pulled over today, issued 3 tickets, and had my car towed. :[ im without a vehicle for a while and this saddens me.

More detail, aha. I've got the following on my license (Note: they always bring the speed down):

20 over - Was doing 35 over/ 3 points and 110$
15 over - Was doing 30 over/ 0 points and 57$
Disobey sign - Was doing 30 over/ 2 points and 90$
Running a red light - It was actually yellow and 2AM/ 3 points and 320$

PS I live in Canada, the first ticket was 90km/h zone I was doing 125km/h, second I was doing 90km/h in a 60km/h zone, third I was doing 110km/h in an 80km/h zone and the last one was a yellow light but the cops clearly stopped me because they were just checking for drunk drivers since it was Easter weekend and since I wasn't drinking they were just assholes and gave me a ticket. I've also been stopped a few others times where I was let off with a warning. The scariest encounter was when I was doing 150km/h in a 60km/h zone, starting slowing down and there was a cop behind a van in the oncomming lane. He got me at 90km/h. I didn't have my license on me and my brother had his bong under the seat(I was driving him to his buddies). The cop followed us home which was just a few minutes away and talked to my mom (I was in her car) and let me off with a warning.

So many nice cars in this thread, but I'm perfectly happy with my Escort. Got it for $1300, has 205k miles on it, still runs like a champ with 30mpg.

(Actually, in the neighborhood I live in, this is considered a pretty nice car.)
