Middie isn't the best person to do things up front because he is disliked by the community due to a lot of issues, but he definitely knows how to handle his own when taking on the responsibilities/logistics of events. I would easily consider him a better tournament host than a good majority of the people on this site simply because he can handle pressure and will make changes to things accordingly. If things aren't going to be done on time, he makes note of it way before it becomes a problem and everyone is aware of it.

Being behind-the-scenes is a perfect job for Middie. People need to stop unleashing/bandwagoning hate on top of people in this community, because it happens all too often. I'm still pretty ticked off about what Middie did in the last DF custom tournament, but I'm not casting stones and calling him out for being shitty at what he does -- that would be an absolutely retarded assumption to make. He's going to be working with us, and I look forward to see the kind of things he will come up with on the back-end to make the entire community happy.

The whole purpose of event helpers was to assist/create in official events (with approval) for the community to enjoy (to promote and encourage activity), and while Middie has been brought to the team for behind-the-scenes work, he isn't officially listed as a "event helper", and he won't be running his own events here. With that being said, can we all just get along for once and see what happens with this new idea?
