if you mean with everyone, like every member from FFR then yeah kinda seeing that you all make packs together and play the same game together so its no wonder your tastes are going to be similar, but if you mean with everyone every person that plays stepmania, the simple answer is no, and will never happen, because the taste in files between north america/europe/, asian and south american is just to much off a difference

But If I had to vote:

FFR: Holy Orders
SM: Intersect Thunderbolt as of right now IMHO. It's stepped to fit the song fantastically in terms of how dense the chart is to the music, and the song is just brb changing pants. Even if the chart has mistakes I don't really care tbh I can't name a time I haven't enjoyed this chart. Which honestly says something I suppose.

Shash's Holy Orders is terrible gtfo. Patashoe's in win.

historically speaking, quasar/uber rave/heaven/strangeprogram have been the most played and thoroughly enjoyed files of all time. this is because they are paddable and extended its audience to basically everyone


generally speaking, there are way too many differences in taste for simfiles and saying one file caters to everyone would be biased no matter what.

Since there's nowhere to download singles anymore, none of the more recent files are ubiquitous enough to be in the running for consensus "best ever", in my opinion. Back in the older Bemanistyle days you could make an argument for Emerald Sword, Sepia or Quasar, but those weren't the best-stepped, just the most popular.
