The only advice that I can give you is keep an eye on the up notse during the first trill and tap slowly faster, because the 2nd down note after each up note is at the same speed. When you get to the extremely fast part, tap like 16ths, and when you see purple notes, tap like 12ths.

Sounds complicated but that's what I've been using to pass that first trill. Most of the 32nds I use jump trilling instead of actually hitting each individual note.

Your division started with the toughest file.. Really you need to have both bursts and polyrhythms down in order to sdg, not to mention being consistent. Just practice the one you do the worst at most, and then the other the second most. I'm sure people around here can give you songs that might help you out.

uhh.

There isn't really any proper songs that can help with trilling and bursts. If you need help with beginner 32nd bursts, I mostly refer to October as being a good place to start if you want to learn how to PA 32nds, but it's an FMO. A step up from there would probably be Clockwork.

With trills, there aren't a whole lot of songs where you can practice trills consistently, but I do know Jelly Roll Blues is a mean trill song, perhaps you can start there with trills.

Well I sometimes change the volume. Like first I put it up louder so I can hear what notes correspond to what sounds, then lower it to where I can barely hear it and try recreating it with the noise from my taps. Intro speedup trill is actually easy if you just tap along to how it sounds as it speeds up.

And yeah there's typically a big welcome for new members, but sometimes people don't see the post or just don't have access to computers to post with at the time. So some people don't get quite as big a welcome as others on occasions (everyone gets a welcome though )
