I'd like to argue with this. First of all, words aren't just "predefined", it's not like the words we have now already had their definitions set from before the existence of mankind. We as a society shape our own language, including the definitions of the words included in that language, thereby allowing definitions, as well as the connotations and associations of many words to change over time. Even having correct pronunciation is has it's own subjectivity considering we try to pretend that there are only 5 vowels, while in actuality, the pronunciation from one vowel to a another is continuous and not discrete. I could argue some more, but I think I'm done here.

i agree with this. people tell you you should "think" but really what they mean is "think like I do"

I hate the word chill. It's fine as an adjective like, "that's pretty chill" but when someone is getting heated and you're totally calm and they tell you to chill it's the most annoying thing in the world...
